One nonstop shift
Taxi Hero. One city, one clock, no loading between passengers. Every drop-off adds seconds, so a good run keeps going.
Short separate levels
Pick Me Up 3D or Taxi Run: Car Driving. Bite-sized trips from A to B, easy to pick up between other things.
Realistic driving
Taxi Sim 2022 Evolution. A taxi simulator with big real-world style cities, a career and online play.

Where Taxi Hero is different
- The clock never stops. There is no result screen between passengers. Drop one off, get paid, and you are already driving to the next.
- You choose the fare. Close and cheap, or across town and worth more. Once a shift a VIP wants a landmark and pays triple.
- Three ways to play. Timed Shift, Freestyle with no clock (hunt the hidden Hero Stars), and a Daily Shift with a new twist every day.
- A silly garage. Seven taxis, paint and two-tone roofs, rims, stickers, underglow, trails, horns, and props like a couch on the roof.
- Your controls. Auto gas or pedals, three steering settings. The game asks on first launch, then puts you straight into your first shift.
Where others may suit you better
- If you want realistic driving, traffic rules and big real-world style cities, a simulator like Taxi Sim 2022 Evolution is the better pick. Taxi Hero is deliberately arcade.
- If you only have 30 seconds at a time, level-based games like Pick Me Up 3D or Taxi Run end each trip on its own. A Taxi Hero shift is 1:30 at its shortest.
- If you want the original Crazy Taxi itself, that is SEGA's game; its new entry is coming to consoles and PC.

Is Crazy Taxi on iPhone or Android?
As of September 2026, SEGA's new Crazy Taxi: World Tour is announced for consoles and PC, with no mobile version announced.
Is Taxi Hero related to Crazy Taxi?
No. Taxi Hero is an independent game by Darko Jovanovski, with its own city, characters and art. It is not affiliated with SEGA.
Is Taxi Hero free?
Yes. Ads show between shifts, never while you drive. Optional purchases include Remove Ads, cosmetics and a VIP subscription; shift cash and the regular taxis can all be earned by driving, while a few cosmetics and the VIP perks are purchase-only.
